Z.AI open sources ZCode, disables features after codebase upload complaints

Chinese startup Z.AI said on Monday it had disabled some features of its flagship AI coding assistant ZCode after users reported it was uploading codebases to overseas servers without consent. The company also open sourced ZCode, the coding harness, in response to the concerns.
