FT analysis: 60 planned US data centers could emit 101.5M tons CO2 yearly

A Financial Times analysis of 60 of the largest planned US data centers estimates they could together produce 101.5 million tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to about 7% of US power sector emissions in 2025. The analysis compares the projected emissions to those of 27 coal plants or 24 million cars annually.
