Physicist Yin Xi leaves OpenAI after about six months
Harvard physicist Yin Xi announced on Twitter that he is leaving OpenAI, where he had worked for about six months since joining in late May. He described the experience as a great journey but said he plans to get off early to explore new directions, without disclosing his next move. Yin, known for string theory research, had previously estimated that AI accelerated his coding work by at least 100 times.
